Union Grove Christian Patriots (Lexington, NC) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Woodland Baptist Christian Eagles (Winston-Salem, NC), 7-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Patriots confront the Gospel Light Christian (Walkertown, NC) in a NCCSA AA District 1 challenge, on Thursday, April 14. Union Grove Christian will attempt to better on its 10-1 season record. The enter the challenge with a 3-9 record after their 1-0 league loss to Cramerton Christian Academy (Cramerton, NC).
The Eagles now have a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rockwell Christian School for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 15.
