The St. Stephens Indians crushed the host Hickory Red Tornadoes baseball team by a tally of 16-2 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Indians now hold a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host North Lincoln for a bout on Thursday, April 14. St. Stephens will face a Knights team coming off a 3-1 league loss to North Iredell (Olin, NC). The Knights record now stands at 10-1.
Next, the Red Tornadoes face the North Iredell Raiders (Olin, NC) in a bout, on Thursday, April 14. Hickory will attempt to advance on its 3-6 season record. The Raiders enter the bout with a 7-5 record after their 3-1 league win over North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC).
