In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA), by a margin of 17-3.

With the triumph, Western Albemarle moves its record to 7-1 on the year. The Warriors travel to Liberty Christian (Lynchburg, VA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Wednesday, April 13. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 0-1.

In their next game, the Patriots play the Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, April 18. Albemarle will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record.
