Wallenpaupack Area Buckhorns (Hawley, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Delaware Valley Warriors (Milford, PA), 15-8 in a non-league challenge.
The Buckhorns now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host West Scranton for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 16.
With the loss, Delaware Valley falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Warriors host Honesdale (Honesdale, PA) to battle the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 19. The Hornets enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
