In Tuesday's league contest, the Espanola Valley Sundevils (Espanola, NM) softball team held off the host Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM), by a margin of 10-9.
With the triumph, Espanola Valley moves its record to 1-3 on the year. The Sundevils travel to Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM) to play the Hilltoppers in a contest on Thursday, April 14. The Hilltoppers come into the contest with a record of 11-3.
In their next game, the Elks/Elkettes play the Moriarty Pintos (Moriarty, NM) in a contest, on Thursday, April 14. Pojoaque Valley will attempt to move on its 8-4 season record. The Pintos come into the contest with a 0-5 record after their 10-8 league loss to Taos (Taos, NM).
