Geneseo Maple Leafs (Geneseo, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Moline Maroons (Moline, IL), 11-0 in a league challenge.

The Maple Leafs now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Moline United for a challenge on Thursday, April 14.

With the loss, Moline falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Maroons travel to Rockridge (Taylor Ridge, IL) to face the Rockets in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 16. The Rockets enter the challenge with a record of 2-0. Rockridge won 16-0 in their recent league challenge against Riverdale (Port Byron, IL)
