Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Lumberton Pirates (Lumberton, NC), 15-0 in a league challenge.

The Bears now own a 9-0 record. They take the field next when they host Jack Britt for a challenge on Tuesday, April 26.

With the loss, Lumberton falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Pirates host Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC) to battle the Rams in a challenge on Friday, April 29. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 4-6. Purnell Swett lost 22-0 in their recent league challenge against South View (Hope Mills, NC)
