Washington Patriots (Charles Town, WV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Martinsburg Bulldogs (Martinsburg, WV), 19-0 in a league challenge.
The Patriots now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Martinsburg for a challenge on Monday, April 25.
With the loss, Martinsburg falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Musselman (Inwood, WV) to battle the Applemen in a challenge on Thursday, April 14. The Applemen enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
