Waterloo Cougars (Waterloo, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Shoals Christian Flame (Florence, AL), 18-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 3-3 record.

With the loss, Shoals Christian falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Flame host Cherokee (Cherokee, AL) to battle the Indians in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 14. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
