The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the New Covenant Gryphons (Lynchburg, VA) and the host Fishburne Military Caissons (Waynesboro, VA), saw New Covenant's lacrosse team top Fishburne Military by a margin of 17-3.

The Gryphons (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against North Cross (Roanoke, VA). The Raiders enter the VISAA Division 2 challenge with a 8-1 record. In their last challenge, North Cross beat Forsyth Country Day (Lewisville, NC), 9-6, in a league challenge.

The Caissons (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Steward (Richmond, VA). The enter the VISAA Division 2 challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Steward was overwhelmed by Fredericksburg Christian (Fredericksburg, VA), 15-13, in a non-league challenge.
