In Tuesday's non-league test, the visiting Xaverian Brothers Hawks lacrosse squad scored a tight 11-8 victory over the St. John's Pioneers.
The Hawks now have a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Malden Catholic for a Catholic test on Thursday, April 14. Xaverian Brothers will face a Lancers squad coming off a 16-8 league loss to Catholic Memorial (West Roxbury, MA). The Lancers record now stands at 0-3.
In their next game, the Pioneers face the Boston College High Eagles (Boston, MA) in a Freelance test, on Thursday, April 14. St. John's will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 4-1 record after their 11-8 non-league loss to St. John's Prep (Danvers, MA).
