In Tuesday's league contest, the Bagdad Sultans (Bagdad, AZ) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Anthem Prep Eagles (Anthem, AZ), by a margin of 27-3.

With the triumph, Bagdad moves its record to 12-5 on the year. The Sultans host Antelope (Wellton, AZ) to play the Rams in a 1A West contest on Friday, April 15. The Rams come into the contest with a record of 7-5. Antelope won 1-0 in their recent league contest against Mountainside (Wittmann, AZ)

In their next game, the Eagles play the Salome Frogs (Salome, AZ) in a 1A West contest, on Friday, April 15. Anthem Prep will attempt to move on its 3-7 season record. The Frogs come into the contest with a 6-6 record after their 20-4 league win over Mountainside (Wittmann, AZ).
