Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Barrington Eagles (Barrington, RI), 13-0 in a league challenge.

The Huskies now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Exeter-West Greenwich for a Division 2 A challenge on Thursday, April 14. Mt. Hope will battle a Scarlet Knights squad coming off a 4-0 league loss to Middletown (Middletown, RI). The Scarlet Knights record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Barrington falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Narragansett (Narragansett, RI) to battle the Mariners in a Division 2 A challenge on Thursday, April 14. The Mariners enter the challenge with a record of 2-2. Narragansett won 16-7 in their recent league challenge against Tiverton (Tiverton, RI)
