The Sun Prairie Cardinals softball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Beloit Memorial Purple Knights to 0 in the Cardinals league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Sun Prairie improves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Janesville Parker (Janesville, WI) to clash with the Vikings in a Big Eight game on Thursday, April 14. The Vikings come into the game with a record of 3-0.
In their next game, the Purple Knights clash with the Madison West Regents (Madison, WI) in a Big Eight game, on Tuesday, April 19. Beloit Memorial will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
