Ohio High School Softball - Hopewell-Loudon holds off Calvert

The crowd at Tuesday's league match between the Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains (Bascom, OH) and the host Calvert Senecas (Tiffin, OH), saw Hopewell-Loudon's softball squad nip Calvert by a count of 4-2.

The Chieftains now sport a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they host Arcadia for a non-league match on Thursday, April 14. Hopewell-Loudon will face a Redskins squad coming off a 19-13 non-league loss to St. Joseph Central Catholic (Fremont, OH). The Redskins record now stands at 6-2.

With the loss, Calvert falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Senecas travel to St. Mary Central Catholic (Sandusky, OH) to face the Panthers in a Sandusky Bay - River match on Wednesday, April 13. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 0-1.
