Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Pekin Dragons (Pekin, IL) and the host Canton Little Giants (Canton, IL), witnessed Pekin's softball squad tip Canton by a count of 13-7.

The Dragons now sport a 8-2 record. They play next when they host Washington for a Mid-Illini match on Thursday, April 14. Pekin will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Morton (Morton, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 8-1.

With the loss, Canton moves to 2-9 on the season. The Little giants travel to Limestone (Bartonville, IL) to meet the Rockets in a Mid-Illini match on Thursday, April 14. The Rockets go into the match with a record of 1-4. Limestone lost 10-0 in their recent league match against East Peoria (East Peoria, IL)
