Arizona High School Softball - La Joya Community thwarted by Canyon View

The La Joya Community Fighting Lobos softball team (Avondale, AZ), was routed 27-1 in Tuesday's league test with the visiting Canyon View Jaguars (Waddell, AZ)

Coming up next, the Jaguars encounter the Verrado Vipers (Buckeye, AZ) in a 5A Desert West test, on Friday, April 15. Canyon View will attempt to improve on its 18-5 season record. The Vipers come into the test with a 11-9 record after their 5-3 non-league win over Williams Field (Gilbert, AZ).

The Fighting Lobos (1-14) will now prepare for their test against Millennium (Goodyear, AZ). The Tigers come into the 5A Desert West test with a 6-13 record. In their last test, Millennium was routed by Arcadia (Phoenix, AZ), 6-5, in a non-league test.
