The Cibola Cougars softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Eldorado Golden Eagles to 0 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Cibola improves its record to 13-6 on the year. The Cougars travel to Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM) to clash with the Rams in a 5A District 1 game on Wednesday, April 13. The Rams come into the game with a record of 12-6. Rio Rancho won 14-8 in their recent league game against Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM)

In their next game, the Golden Eagles clash with the Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM) in a 5A District 2 game, on Saturday, April 16. Eldorado will attempt to improve on its 5-13 season record. The Scorpions come into the game with a 15-5 record after their 15-5 league win over West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM).
