Shelbyville Rams (Shelbyville, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Clinton Maroons (Clinton, IL), 15-2 in a league challenge.

The Rams now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Vandalia for a South Central challenge on Thursday, April 14. Shelbyville will face a Vandals squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Hillsboro (Hillsboro, IL). The Vandals record now stands at 2-8.

With the loss, Clinton falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Maroons travel to Monticello (Monticello, IL) to face the Sages in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 13. The Sages enter the challenge with a record of 5-5. Monticello won 17-1 in their recent league challenge against St. Thomas More (Champaign, IL)
