New Mexico High School Softball - Cobre bounces Hatch Valley

The Cobre Indians (Bayard, NM) softball routed the host Hatch Valley Bears (Hatch, NM), 21-2 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Indians (11-7) will now prepare for their bout against Socorro (Socorro, NM). The Warriors go into the 3A District 3 bout with a 0-6 record. In their last bout, Socorro was routed by East Mountain (Sandia Park, NM), 11-8, in a league bout.

The Bears now possess a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Hot Springs for a 3A District 3 bout on Wednesday, April 13. Hatch Valley will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 18-1 non-league loss to Hatch Valley (Hatch, NM). The Tigers record now stands at 1-15.
