South Rowan Raiders (China Grove, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Concord Spiders (Concord, NC), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Raiders now own a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they host Lake Norman Charter for a South Piedmont 3A challenge on Thursday, April 14. South Rowan will battle a Knights squad coming off a 14-1 league loss to West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC). The Knights record now stands at 3-13.

In their next game, the Spiders clash with the Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC) in a South Piedmont 3A game, on Thursday, April 14. Concord will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record. The Trojans come into the game with a 2-9 record after their 12-1 league loss to Carson (China Grove, NC).
