De Pere Redbirds (De Pere, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Sheboygan South Redwings (Sheboygan, WI), 22-1 in a league challenge.
The Redbirds now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sheboygan North for a Fox River Classic challenge on Tuesday, April 19.
With the loss, Sheboygan South falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Redwings travel to Manitowoc Lincoln (Manitowoc, WI) to battle the Ships in a Fox River Classic challenge on Thursday, April 14. The Ships enter the challenge with a record of 1-0. Manitowoc Lincoln won 4-1 in their recent league challenge against Sheboygan North (Sheboygan, WI)
