Forbush Falcons (East Bend, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Wilkes Central Eagles (Wilkesboro, NC), 4-0 in a league challenge.

The Falcons now sport a 11-5 record. They take the field next when they host North Surry for a Foothills 2A challenge on Tuesday, April 19. Forbush will face a Greyhounds squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC). The Greyhounds record now stands at 7-8.

With the loss, Wilkes Central falls to 8-5 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to North Surry (Mount Airy, NC) to face the Greyhounds in a Foothills 2A challenge on Thursday, April 14. The Greyhounds enter the challenge with a record of 7-7. North Surry won 4-1 in their recent league challenge against North Wilkes (Hays, NC)
