Fort Bend Elkins Knights (Missouri City, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Fort Bend Dulles Vikings (Sugar Land, TX), 11-8 in a league challenge.

The Knights now own a 13-10 record. They take the field next when they host Ridge Point for a 6A Region III District 20 challenge on Thursday, April 14. Fort Bend Elkins will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 5-4 league loss to George Ranch (Richmond, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 17-6.

With the loss, Fort Bend Dulles falls to 2-11 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Fort Bend Travis (Richmond, TX) to battle the Tigers in a 6A Region III District 20 challenge on Thursday, April 14. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 14-9. Fort Bend Travis won 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Fort Bend Clements (Sugar Land, TX)
