The Gloucester City Lions routed the host Gateway Regional Gators softball squad by a final score of 10-1 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Lions (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Pennsville Memorial (Pennsville, NJ). The Eagles go into the Tri-County - Classic battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Pennsville Memorial topped Salem (Salem, NJ), 23-1, in a league battle.

The Gators now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Haddon Township for a Colonial battle on Thursday, April 14. Gateway Regional will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 16-0 league win over Woodbury (Woodbury, NJ). The Hawks record now stands at 1-0.
