The Meek Tigers got by the visiting Hubbertville Lions softball squad by a final score of 4-3 in Tuesday's league battle.
The Tigers (7-8) will now prepare for their battle against Brilliant (Brilliant, AL). The Tigers go into the 1A Area 12 battle with a 1-16 record. In their last battle, Brilliant was edged by Marion County (Guin, AL), 18-0, in a league battle.
The Lions now possess a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Lynn for a 1A Area 12 battle on Thursday, April 14. Hubbertville will meet a Bears squad coming off a 16-9 non-league win over Addison (Addison, AL). The Bears record now stands at 9-10.
