In Tuesday's league contest, the Newark Norsemen (Newark, IL) softball team overwhelmed the host Indian Creek Timberwolves (Shabbona, IL), by a margin of 11-1.

With the triumph, Newark moves its record to 13-2 on the year. The Norsemen travel to Rochelle (Rochelle, IL) to play the Hubs in a non-league contest on Thursday, April 14. The Hubs come into the contest with a record of 0-2.
