Jefferson Silver Foxes (El Paso, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Irvin Rockets (El Paso, TX), 18-2 in a league challenge.

The Silver Foxes now own a 9-9 record. They take the field next when they host El Paso for a 5A Region I District 1 challenge on Thursday, April 14. Jefferson will face a Tigers squad coming off a 19-0 league loss to Chapin (El Paso, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 16-6.

With the loss, Irvin falls to 0-17 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Austin (El Paso, TX) to face the Panthers in a 5A Region I District 1 challenge on Thursday, April 14. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 1-23. Austin lost 14-4 in their recent league challenge against Andress (El Paso, TX)
