In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Jenkins Cavaliers (Jenkins, KY) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Phelps Hornets (Phelps, KY), by a margin of 10-0.
With the triumph, Jenkins moves its record to 5-6 on the year. The Cavaliers host Buckhorn (Buckhorn, KY) to play the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Wednesday, April 13. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 0-2.
In their next game, the Hornets play the Pike County Central Hawks (Pikeville, KY) in a District 60 contest, on Tuesday, April 26. Phelps will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record.
