The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Kennedy Eagles (Richmond, CA) and the visiting Making Waves Academy Marlins (Richmond, CA), saw Kennedy's softball squad nip Making Waves Academy by a count of 11-10.
The Eagles now sport a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Vallejo for a Tri-County - Stone match on Wednesday, April 13. Kennedy will face a Red Hawks squad coming off a 15-6 non-league loss to Bethel (Vallejo, CA). The Red Hawks record now stands at 0-7.
With the loss, Making Waves Academy falls to 1-9 on the campaign. The Marlins host Leadership Public Schools Richmond (Richmond, CA) to face the Pumas in a non-league match on Friday, April 15. The Pumas enter the match with a record of 0-0.
