The Lewis County Minutemen softball team scored 15 runs and limited the host North Marion Huskies to 1 in the Minutemen league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Lewis County moves its record to 5-3 on the year. The Minutemen host Lincoln (Shinnston, WV) to play the Cougars in a Big Ten game on Wednesday, April 13. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 11-0. Lincoln won 19-0 in their recent league game against Preston (Kingwood, WV)

In their next game, the Huskies play the Fairmont Senior Polar Bears (Fairmont, WV) in a Big Ten game, on Thursday, April 14. North Marion will attempt to move on its 0-9 season record. The Polar Bears come into the game with a 5-7 record after their 19-0 non-league loss to Oak Glen (New Cumberland, WV).
