Liberty Raiders (Glen Daniel, WV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Van Bulldogs (Van, WV), 12-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Raiders now own a 3-11 record. They take the field next when they host Nicholas County for a Coalfield A challenge on Wednesday, April 13. Liberty will battle a Grizzlies squad coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Clay County (Clay, WV). The Grizzlies record now stands at 6-5.

With the loss, Van falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Hannan (Ashton, WV) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 23. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 1-4.
