Sierra Linda Bulldogs (Phoenix, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Metro Tech Knights (Phoenix, AZ), 16-4 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 9-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central for a 5A Metro challenge on Friday, April 15. Sierra Linda will battle a Bobcats squad coming off a 24-6 league loss to Fairfax (Laveen, AZ). The Bobcats record now stands at 9-6.

With the loss, Metro Tech falls to 0-18 on the campaign. The Knights host Camelback (Phoenix, AZ) to battle the Spartans in a 5A Metro challenge on Friday, April 15. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 9-10. Camelback won 18-14 in their recent league challenge against Carl Hayden Community (Phoenix, AZ)
