West Henderson Falcons (Hendersonville, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting North Henderson Knights (Hendersonville, NC), 12-2 in a league challenge.

The Falcons now own a 11-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Henderson for a Mountain Seven 3A challenge on Thursday, April 14. West Henderson will face a Eagles squad coming off a 16-6 non-league loss to Polk County (Columbus, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 3-7.

With the loss, North Henderson falls to 1-13 on the campaign. The Knights host Smoky Mountain (Sylva, NC) to face the Mustangs in a Mountain Seven 3A challenge on Tuesday, April 19. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 6-6. Smoky Mountain won 5-1 in their recent league challenge against Tuscola (Waynesville, NC)
