In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Gilroy Mustangs baseball team scored a tight 5-4 victory over the Alisal Trojans.
The Mustangs (7-4) will now prepare for their game against Lynbrook (San Jose, CA). The Vikings go into the non-league game with a 6-8 record. In their last game, Lynbrook was edged by Fremont (Sunnyvale, CA), 4-0, in a league game.
