The Roswell Hornets baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Alpharetta Raiders to 1 in the Hornets league victory on Wednesday.
The Hornets (14-12) will now prepare for their match against Johns Creek (Johns Creek, GA). The Gladiators go into the 6A Area 7 match with a 7-19 record. In their last match, Johns Creek was overwhelmed by Pope (Marietta, GA), 7-1, in a league match.
The Raiders (9-16) will now prepare for their match against Sprayberry (Marietta, GA). The Yellow Jackets go into the 6A Area 7 match with a 10-16 record. In their last match, Sprayberry tipped South Cobb (Austell, GA), 11-1, in a non-league match.
