The Long County Blue Tide baseball team scored 3 runs and limited the host Bryan County Redskins to 2 in the Blue Tide non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Blue Tide (19-7) will now prepare for their match against Calvary Day (Savannah, GA). The Cavaliers go into the 3A Area 3 match with a 16-6 record.
The Redskins (14-12) will now prepare for their match against Savannah (Savannah, GA). The Bluejackets go into the 1A D-I Area 3 match with a 0-6 record. In their last match, Savannah was edged by Bryan County (Pembroke, GA), 17-2, in a league match.
