The Schaumburg Saxons baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Conant Cougars to 7 in the Saxons league victory on Wednesday.
The Saxons (9-1) will now prepare for their match against Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL). The Mustangs go into the Mid-Suburban - East match with a 7-3 record. In their last match, Rolling Meadows was edged by Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL), 29-12, in a league match.
