Spectators at Wednesday's league battle between the Marion County Eagles (Buena Vista, GA) and the visiting Furlow Charter School Falcons (Americus, GA), saw Marion County's baseball squad knock off Furlow Charter School by a count of 17-2.

Coming up next, the Eagles play the Deerfield-Windsor Knights (Albany, GA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 17. Marion County will attempt to move on its 11-11 season record. The Knights enter the battle with a 6-15 record after their 4-2 league loss to Tiftarea Academy (Chula, GA).
