The Hempfield Black Knights baseball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Manheim Township Blue Streaks to 2 in the Black Knights league victory on Wednesday.
The Black Knights (7-1) will now prepare for their match against Penn Manor (Millersville, PA). The Comets go into the Lancaster-Lebanon 1 match with a 6-2 record. In their last match, Penn Manor was edged by Warwick (Lititz, PA), 5-1, in a league match.
The Blue Streaks (4-3) will now prepare for their match against J.P. McCaskey (Lancaster, PA). The Red Tornado go into the Lancaster-Lebanon 1 match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, J.P. McCaskey was edged by Cedar Crest (Lebanon, PA), 6-4, in a league match.
