Arizona High School Baseball - Liberty loses to Mountain Ridge

The Liberty Lions baseball team (Peoria, AZ), 4-1 in Wednesday's league outing with the visiting Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions (Glendale, AZ)

The Mountain Lions now hold a 20-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sunnyslope for a 6A Desert Valley outing on Tuesday, April 18. Mountain Ridge will confront a Vikings team coming off a 6-3 league loss to Pinnacle (Phoenix, AZ). The Vikings record now stands at 9-14.

Next, the Lions confront the Boulder Creek Jaguars (Anthem, AZ) in a 6A Desert Valley outing, on Thursday, April 13. Liberty will attempt to advance on its 7-13 season record. The Jaguars go into the outing with a 10-11 record after their 6-3 league win over O'Connor (Phoenix, AZ).
