In Wednesday's non-league battle, the visiting Staunton Storm soccer squad scored a good 9-1 triumph over the Broadway Gobblers.
The Storm (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA). The Cougars come into the Shenandoah battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, Stuarts Draft Central Woodstock (Woodstock, VA), 1-1, in a non-league battle.
The Gobblers (0-8) will now prepare for their battle against Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA). The Knights come into the Valley battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Turner Ashby was overwhelmed by William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
