In Wednesday's league battle, the host Davie War Eagles soccer squad scored a good 8-0 triumph over the Glenn Bobcats.
The War Eagles (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Parkland (Winston-Salem, NC). The Mustangs come into the Central Piedmont 4A battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Parkland was overwhelmed by Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC), 9-0, in a league battle.
The Bobcats (2-8) will now prepare for their battle against East Forsyth (Kernersville, NC). The Eagles come into the Central Piedmont 4A battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, East Forsyth was overwhelmed by West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC), 2-0, in a league battle.
