With the win, Eastern Montgomery upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Giles (Pearisburg, VA) to battle the Spartans in a non-league test on Monday, April 17. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 6-3. Giles won 7-3 in their recent non-league test against Bland County (Rocky Gap, VA)

With the defeat, Fort Chiswell falls to 1-4 on the season. The Pioneers host George Wythe (Wytheville, VA) to battle the Maroons in a non-league test on Friday, April 14. The Maroons come into the test with a record of 4-2. George Wythe lost 18-4 in their recent non-league test against Grayson County (Independence, VA)
