The Salem Spartans walloped the host Rockbridge County Wildcats lacrosse team by a final score of 19-3 in Wednesday's league match.
With the win, Salem betters its record to 4-0 on the season. The Spartans host Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA) to play the Patriots in a non-league match on Monday, April 17. The Patriots go into the match with a record of 0-4. Albemarle lost 8-3 in their recent non-league match against Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA)
With the defeat, Rockbridge County drops to 1-3 on the season.
