McLean Highlanders (McLean, VA) boosters exited the stadium content Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the host Westfield Bulldogs (Chantilly, VA), 10-6 in a non-league battle.
The Highlanders now own a 9-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wakefield for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 13. McLean will clash with a Fighting Owls squad coming off a 12-8 league loss to Highland (Warrenton, VA). The Fighting Owls record now stands at 1-2.
In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Battlefield Bobcats (Haymarket, VA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 15. Westfield will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Bobcats come into the battle with a 3-2 record after their 12-4 league win over Freedom (South Riding, VA).
