The Laton Mustangs softball team scored 18 runs and limited the host Alpaugh Buffalos to 0 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Laton improves its record to 4-2 on the year. The Mustangs host Legacy Christian Academy (Bakersfield, CA) to clash with the Lions in a non-league game on Monday, April 17. The Lions come into the game with a record of 1-2. Legacy Christian Academy lost 24-2 in their recent non-league game against Arvin (Arvin, CA)

In their next game, the Buffalos clash with the Kings Christian Crusaders (Lemoore, CA) in a East Sierra game, on Friday, April 14. Alpaugh will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Crusaders come into the game with a 1-4 record after their 4-2 league loss to Laton (Laton, CA).
