Annville-Cleona Dutchmen (Annville, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Lancaster Mennonite Blazers (Lancaster, PA), 16-1 in a league challenge.

The Dutchmen now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northern Lebanon for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 14. Annville-Cleona will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 8-3 non-league win over Pequea Valley (Kinzers, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 5-1.

With the loss, Lancaster Mennonite falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Blazers host Columbia (Columbia, PA) to battle the Crimson Tide in a Lancaster-Lebanon Section 4 challenge on Friday, April 14. The Crimson Tide enter the challenge with a record of 0-5. Columbia lost 19-2 in their recent league challenge against Lancaster Catholic (Lancaster, PA)
