The Central Kitsap Cougars softball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Kingston Buccaneers to 5 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Central Kitsap improves its record to 3-2 on the year. The Cougars travel to Yelm (Yelm, WA) to clash with the Tornados in a 3A South Sound game on Thursday, April 13. The Tornados come into the game with a record of 4-4. Yelm won 16-4 in their recent league game against Capital (Olympia, WA)

In their next game, the Buccaneers clash with the Port Angeles Roughriders (Port Angeles, WA) in a 2A Olympic game, on Thursday, April 13. Kingston will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Roughriders come into the game with a 2-0 record after their 19-3 league win over Bainbridge (Bainbridge Island, WA).
