The Longmeadow Lancers softball team scored 18 runs and limited the visiting Central Golden Eagles to 9 in the Lancers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Longmeadow moves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Lancers travel to Chicopee (Chicopee, MA) to play the Pacers in a PVIAC - Valley Wheel game on Friday, April 14. The Pacers come into the game with a record of 0-2.
In their next game, the Golden Eagles play the McCann Tech Hornets (North Adams, MA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, April 13. Central will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Hornets come into the game with a 1-2 record after their 16-0 non-league loss to Franklin County Tech (Turners Falls, MA).
